RoHS Declaration

Declaration in accordance with EC Directive 2002/95/EC on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS)

When the German "Act governing the sale, return and environmentally sound disposal of electrical and electronic equipment" came into force on 13 August 2005, the provisions of EC Directives 2002/95/EC (RoHS) and 2002/96/EC (WEEE) were implemented in German law.

The central concern of this Act is to reduce pollutants from the electronics industry and to prevent and reduce electronic scrap through re-use. Threshold values for pollutants have been in force since 1 July 2006 and include lead, mercury, cadmium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) and chromium VI compounds.

Durbal Metallwarenfabrik GmbH develops, produces and markets products which do not fall within the direct sphere of application of the Act. However, our products may be used and installed as components of systems to which the aforementioned Act applies.

In accordance with our ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certification, we are in constant dialogue with our suppliers, among other things to ensure that all products supplied comply with RoHS.

We will of course be pleased to answer any queries you may have.
