Cam Follower Accessories

In order to adapt our products ideally to your requirements, there are also various options for optimising and equipping our cam followers.

These include eccentric collars, greasing injectors, clamping nuts and nipple and greasing nuts.

 

1. Eccentric Collars

To enable the adjustment of the position of the cam follower with stud in relation to the hole, we offer eccentric bushes which are slipped onto the stud with interference are used. This makes it possible to adjust the position of the bearing for the value ± k, i.e. the eccentricity.

Normally, the eccentric collar blocks the lubrication hole on the shank of the stud. On request we can supply collars that allow lubrication of the eccentric cam followers without stud through the hole in the stud.

The eccentric collars are already fitted to the pivots of the cam follower without stud GCR, GCUR and KRE.

 

2. Greasing Injector:

The SRG-80 pump can be used to manually re-grease the cam followers. It has a capacity of 150 cc and should be fitted with a tip to match the grease nipple used. For more details, see our "Cam Followers" catalogue.

 

3. Clamping Nut:

For our cam followers with stud, you will receive a nut and washer for mounting. For more information on delivery details, download our catalogue.

 

4. Nipple and Greasing Plug :

Our GCU and GC..SW series full complement needle rollers come complete with holes for relubrication and a built-in hexagon socket at both ends. They are supplied with a grease nipple and grease plug. Depending on which side is to be re-greased, one of the two is inserted at the respective ends.
