Find out some of Nadella Group application solutions in the world of robotics with this new article by We Robots

Nadella Group is an expert system partner specialized in mechanical handling technologies, with branches in Europe, the United States and Asia. In 2020, the year of the 90th anniversary of its foundation, the Group continued its growth path with the inauguration of a new production plant in Changxing dedicated to the Chinese market. In the same period, it finalized the acquisition of two major companies in Spain, Shuton and Ipiranga, both specialized in the production of high-precision ball screws.

Nadella Group offers a wide range of solutions, such as: linear guide systems, needle bearings and cam followers, telescopic rails, linear modules with toothed or screw belt transmission, rod ends and spherical plain bearings (both DURBAL and Tescubal), adjusting nuts and threaded rings, ball bushings, cardan joints, precision ball screws and complete systems created by using the combined technologies of the Group.

The production of customized systems, as well as application consultancy, are just a couple of the distinctive features of this reality: Nadella engineers collaborate closely with customers and partners, and actively contribute to the development of their applications by sharing their expertise, experience and technical competence.

The application sectors in which Nadella Group operates are many, and they also include the world of industrial automation and robotics.

An example in the latter field is provided by the high performance Durbal rod ends such as the BRTM (one of its Premium Line products). These special rod ends are equipped with an integrated full complement spherical roller bearings, capable of withstanding extreme loads and characterized by a lifetime lubrication, perfect to be used in the axis balancing system of industrial robots.

Another example is the Nadella 7th Axis for anthropomorphic robots which, using both the linear guides and self-aligning tapered roller bearings technologies, will be able to increase the range of action of articulated collaborative robots while maintaining high sliding speeds and loads even in aggressive environmental conditions.

Another very requested motion solution used widely in the field of robotics is represented by the SHUTON ATR ball screws, specially designed for pick & place applications, for industrial automation or with actuators that require high precision combined with high speeds and accelerations.
