Ideas for a smart factory

Nadella is synonymous with mechanical handling. Needle roller bearings, linear guides, linear modules, telescopic guides… the Group is able to propose high performance solutions for any movement, even in particularly harsh environments. Solutions that go beyond the product, made with modern technologies, highly selected materials and constantly improving production technologies to ensure quality and reliability over time.

With this in mind, in recent years, Nadella has invested in strengthening the corporate information network up to full coverage, via cable and wireless, of all the production areas of the new Concorezzo (MB) plant.

The infrastructure was the prerequisite for the inclusion of new "intelligent and connected" machines.

Spearheads of the transformation are, on the one hand, the inclusion of automatic warehouses directly connected to the company ERP, which independently manage the picking missions of the operators, optimizing the movements and, therefore, the time required.

On the other hand, the insertion of machine tools (grinding, lathes and drilling machines) capable of communicating with the information system, exchanging information on the status of the machine and on the processes to be performed.
