IPIRANGA develops new protection system

For more than 50 years, IPIRANGA has been meeting the most difficult needs of its customers by manufacturing ball screws. Now the company has developed a new system to protect its products even better against environmental influences.

Thanks to various special treatments, IPIRANGA products are very popular in sectors with difficult environmental conditions as the nuclear sector, aeronautical engineering or the use in ports and airports.

In particular, a special combination of alloys combined with a specific surface treatment (a chemical layer of manganese phosphates) ensures reliable protectionagainst wet and salty environments.

IPIRANGA products are now also ideally equipped to withstand dirty conditions. This is the case of the new wiper, perfectly suited for ball screws that are exposed to abrasive or otherwise troublesome dirt during operations, as often happens in applications with grinding machines or saws and punches.
