Macchine Connesse 2022

An open talk with manufacturers

Events are back after the summer break. Nadella Group does so together with its digital partner Orchestra, a Turin-based company linked to the world of Industry 4.0 with its own technology Retuner, which recently joined the Nadella Group.

On 29 September, from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the EXPO Piacenza Fiere centre, we will take part in 'Macchine Connesse 2022', the annual event aimed at encouraging the sharing of valuable experiences arising from the adoption, implementation and sale of IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) services by OEM and END USERS, with a view to a digital ecosystem and open innovation.

An initial plenary session will be followed by three parallel sessions of two sessions each, interspersed with breaks, to give visitors the opportunity to meet the main suppliers of technology and services in the sector, in the dedicated exhibition area.

From 3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., in Hall B - III Parallel, you can follow the speech by Enrico Rolih, Chief Technology Officer of the Nadella Group, who will address the topic 'Beyond Transition 4.0: the role of machine manufacturers'; in other words, how machine manufacturers were able to capitalise on the potential of digital solutions and gain a competitive advantage.

Nadella, together with its partner Orchestra, has recently developed its own fully digitised AXNR circular system, which is able to provide meaningful data to the user of the machinery, facilitating:

  • Increased production efficiency: thanks to sensors that constantly monitor performance, manufacturers can have an advanced view of the operational performance of individual equipment and the entire production process in real-time.
  • Predictive maintenance: unexpected plant downtimes are among the unexpected events with the greatest impact on operational processes and costs. With predictive maintenance powered by digital solutions, this does not happen; machinery operation is constantly monitored and the health of assets is always under control precisely to avoid downtime.
  • Operational safety: safety is entrusted to continuous monitoring that is possible when sensors exploit the industrial interconnection to provide timely information in order to prevent possible criticalities.
  • The reduction of human error: the IIoT enables manufacturers to digitise many processes in their production activities. By reducing manual activities, manufacturers are able to reduce the risk associated with human error.

All the above-mentioned advantages promote greater plant availability and better planning, thus reducing costs due to unexpected operations. With IIoT solutions, it is also possible to monitor all activities remotely, 365 days a year. A great added value for business competitiveness.
