Mounting advice: Hardened Telescopic Rails

The right way to mount our hardened telescopic line

The new Nadella line of Hardened Telescopic Rails is the ideal solution for applications that require high duty cycles, heavy loads and continuous processes.

As it is made entirely of steel, with cold-drawn profiles and induction-hardened raceways, it allows moving heavy loads with smooth running and reduced clearance  - thanks to the new optimized shape.

The high degree of customizability is one of Nadella's great strengths. Therefore, this product line offers many possibilities and can be used in a wide range of industries.

Information on hole configurations for Standard Products

NTA rails allow full access to all mounting holes by removing the screw at the end of the guide profile. When the telescopic rail is fixed on the support, the screw must be tightened again.

For proper mounting of NTVZ-H and NTUZ-H, we recommend to use all accessible holes without removing any guide section. As shown in the figure on the right, the orange circles indicate the accessible holes that can be used to mount the guide when it is fully extended.

The red circles indicate the holes that become accessible after the guide is closed, using the holes with the orange arrows. These steps must be performed both on the wall and on the side of the drawer.

Option: Double Stroke (VR, VRM)

Nadella telescopic slides NTA-H and NTS-H can be supplied with forward and reverse extension (or with double stroke).

For the NTA-H and NTS-H telescopic slides with partial extension, the double stroke function can be disabled by the customer by simply removing the end screw on the edge of the rail or  you can order the guide directly with the suffix -VR.

In the case of NTS-H with full extension, removing the end stop screws can lead to unintentional displacement of the center support when changing from the reverse to the forward direction. To prevent this and to ensure synchronized movement of the three elements in the case of double stroke extensions, please add the suffix the suffix -VRM in the order code.

NTS-H full extensions of size 28 and 43 are available with countersunk holes (suffix SS) and threaded holes. Also they can be ordered in the mixed version (suffix GS), with one slider with counter-sunk holes and one slider with tapped holes.

All countersunk holes are accessible without having to open the guide in the double extended version. As shown in figure 2, the orange circles indicate the accessible holes that can be used to fix the fully extended guide; the red circles indicate the holes that become accessible when the guide is closed, using the holes with the orange arrows.

Both the single and double stroke versions of the NTVZ-H can be used on the right or left side of the drawer, so it is not necessary to specify the mounting side when ordering the product.

The NTUZ-H type is not symmetrical and, as shown in the figure, there is the guide for the right side and the guide for the left side. When ordering the product it is important to choose the correct code in this catalog (example: NTUZ84-30H-770-R for right side, NTUZ84-30H-770-L for left side).

For NTVZ-H and NTUZ-H guides, the slider where the load engages must always be on the bottom side.
