ROLBLOC SYSTEM UPDATE

Since more than 20 years Nadella ROLBLOC carriages are the perfect solution recommended for applications with heavy duty, high load and harsh environment (dirt, abrasive, …).

Thanks to its characteristic design, in fact, ROLBLOC system allows a pure rolling on our GU rails, reducing Friction and Superficial stresses, particularly significant in case of high load configuration and dirt environment.

Each of the carriages BL2 and BL4 is equipped respectively with 2 or 4 tapered bearing rollers PK type, to ensure load capacities up to 16 Tons and protection from external agents.

Today we are glad to announce our new ROLBLOC DS (Discharge System), a patented new version developed by Nadella’s Engineering Team to fulfil the evolving requests of the Market.

How does it work?

Our new ROLBLOC DS carriages have a special block with profiled metal shoulders spaced a few tenths of mm from the related GU rail.

During normal movement of the machine there is no contact between shoulders and rail, therefore it works as a standard Rolbloc. 

When the load goes over the nominal value, the deflection of the rollers’ stud allows the shoulders to be in contact with the rail, absorbing higher part of the load.

In this way the system is protected versus shock impacts and or uncontrolled loads.

When the extra load is removed the system returns in its normal position, thanks to elastic deformation of rollers’ stud.

These systems are perfect for using in Applications such as Steel Manufacturing, Foundry, Sand Casting Moulds, Marble and Stone cutting, Automatic Warehouses and in all applications with kinematic thrust like Manipulators.
