Nadella solutions for the railway industry

Handling application in the railway sector? Do not worry: the high level of specialization achieved by Nadella in the railway industry is based on experience, production capacity and customer service, all characteristics that designers can experience concretely. Thanks to its product portfolio and its own dedicated technical study, the company is in fact able to propose a whole series of solutions capable of perfectly adapting to these situations. For example, Nadella telescopic slides are particularly suitable for application in this field, where they are often used to handle battery boxes, seats for wagons, sliding doors and platforms for the disabled. Thanks to their long strokes of up to 3 meters and capable of handling even very heavy loads (over 1250 kg), these telescopic slides are able to make a concrete contribution to planning and to satisfy even the most disparate customer needs. From a practical point of view, the telescopic guides are composed of several modules, consisting of 2+ drawn sections with different sections and ball cages that allow them to slide together. The resulting telescopic extraction makes them very suitable for extensive use in the maintenance sectors (to extract specific components, such as battery boxes) or to extract platforms that must later reenter without creating clutter, as happens in the case of platforms for the disabled. These telescopic guides are available in different materials, based on their application needs: aluminum for light applications, steel for heavy loads and stainless steel to facilitate their use outdoors. As for the strokes up to 3 meters, it is possible to choose guides with 2-3-4 elements with stop mechanisms both on closing and opening, able to lock the system in closed or open position, as well as with the double extension option (stroke on both sides). However, it is necessary to use these telescopic guides in pairs, mounting them flat or on the edge. In particular, the most recommended type of assembly is that of the edge as it allows to make the most of the load capacity of the linear components. Linear guides in aluminum and steel (and in simple steel) with roller cursors are also particularly used on sliding doors, as they allow silent and rapid movement even in the case of heavy loads.

Still in the railway sector, Nadella also offers applications with idler pins, shafts, specific needle roller bearings for opening doors and axial sleeves. Very often, these products are manufactured according to the specifications indicated by their customers, and of course they are also widely used in the industrial world.

In fact, Nadella's construction philosophy aims at the constant improvement of the solutions in the portfolio in order to be able to better respond to every need for quality and duration and to be able to anticipate the needs of customers as much as possible.
