Donation for cleaner water

Although in recent years Ghana has made great strides from an economic point of view, in many parts of the country the living conditions of the population are still rather difficult.

This mainly concerns rural and peripheral areas, which, as is the case everywhere, are the last to benefit from this kind of progress. The aim of PLAN International Deutschland, which has long been supported by our colleagues at Nadella Gmbh, is to improve the sanitation and hygiene situation and the supply of drinking water in 36 communities in Ghana.

About 32,000 parishioners will have access to clean, accessible water and sanitation. To this end, as many as 20 new water supply points are being built in the communities and renovating (and renovating) another 16 water access points in schools, communities and health stations.

In the project communities, the relationship between hygiene and disease prevention is also promoted and deepened. The construction of health facilities in the local area is also promoted and supported. In this way, within 36 schools of the project are about 12,000 children who can benefit from new toilets and bathrooms.
